I'm looking for a work placement ready for may/april time next year.

I'm on a Foundation Degree New Media Course so i'm looking for a media studio / graphic design studio or something similar thats around the chesterfield area.

Anyone know any?

The only problem is, one of the main reasons I moved away from Chesterfield is the lack of decent design studio's in the area. You'll find alot of freelancers but not many established design studio's.

Head towards Notts, Sheffield, Derby or any of the Cities and you'll be spoilt for choice.

Make sure if you can to get as much press knowledge as you can while you've got the time to. When I was in Chezzy I worked and helped out at loads of local printers because I knew I would need as much press knowledge in the future. Too many designers now have little or no knowledge of Digital or Litho Presses and it can make you stand out if you do know a little.

I can't remember the name of the one I went to but I think it was something like 'Ladas Printers' it was on Staveley Industrial Estate.
